St. Catherine Laboure Medical Clinic

Programs Offered

St. Catherine’s offers comprehensive health care by offering three primary programs: Preventive Health Care, Chronic Disease Management/Acute Care, and Patient Advocacy.  Preventive care focuses on the prevention of chronic disease such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and COPD as well as providing cancer screening and well care.  Chronic Disease Management/Acute Care includes health optimization and psychosocial intervention.  The Patient Advocacy program provides special assistance programs as corollaries to the primary medical care provided.  These consist of prescription assistance programs, The Benefit Bank, and Charity Care assistance programs.

It is critical for our patients to have access to an inclusive system for their health care so they have an affordable means to maintain and improve their health.  It is for this reason we run a state certified level 1 laboratory and pharmacy in addition to the programs noted above.  These components provide two major benefits to the clinic.  First they provide our patients with low cost (subsidized) lab tests and free medications that would have otherwise been unable to afford and are critical to their health.  Second, they allow the medical practitioners to ensure our patients are following prescribed protocols and closely track a patient’s medical status resulting in a greater number of positive outcomes and overall healthier patients.
