Partners and Resources

St. Catherine’s maximizes resources by collaborating with other local organizations, including:

• Precepting medical students from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.
• Training Resident Physicians from Chestnut Hill Hospital Family Practice Department.
• Collaborating with Independence Blue Cross as part of their Nurse-Intern Program.
• Accepting St. Joseph’s University students as a volunteer site for their pre-med students as well as a service-learning site for students in specific classes.
• Collaborating with the Albert Einstein Medical Center Hospitalist Division, which follows our patients in the hospital, and provides telephone consults as needed for our patients in the office. 
• Accepting B.S.N. and Nurse Practitioner students from Thomas Jefferson University School of Nursing. 
• Collaborating with DePaul House to provide comprehensive physical/psychological care.
• Collaborate with Philadelphia Dept. of Health to provide vaccinations for vulnerable uninsured adults.
